On the 13th of January, in Poland there is a huge Charity event called Wielka Orchistra Swiatecznej Pomocy (The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity) during which, many musical concerts happen and the whole nation shares their goods and money to raise money for polish hospitals. Often for Child Care Units - sponsoring expensive and life-saving equipment.
This charity happens for many and many years now, often hated by the current governmental forces as they do not allow any politicians to mess around with the collected money... and God knows what other reason...
An for this reason, among others, the nation of Poland each year becomes more and more generous - selling items they have/done for charity, raising money with famous sportsmen, actors, singers...
